About the Journal
The Journal was founded in 2010 under the auspices of Trygve Wyller and the German publishing house, Vandenhoeck and Ruprecht, to develop and study the field of diaconia or Christian social practice. From its conception, it has been an interdisciplinary journal, drawing on theological, sociological, anthropoloigical, and philosophical traditions. Every article is taken from a double-blind peer review process. From 2017, the Journal has been an open access journal. From 2018, Annette Leis-Peters is the Editor-in-Chief.
Current and previous issues of the Journal can be accessed via the Publisher's website.
